MICRO-PLUS was founded 25 years ago as an enterprise in the flavour industry and since 1988 has located to Stadtoldendorf (Lower Saxony, Germany). The emphasis of the company has been in the area of the animal nutrition. The work with essential oils and the search for more effective flavour materials for animal nutrition finally led to the development of the product group, digestarom®.
We always attached great importance on validating our new developments, not only in our own attempts to place them, but also to stand the test of international science. Today we are proud of the fact that in the year 2000, during the annual convention of the American Society of Animal Sciences, in Baltimore, MD, attempts with MICRO-PLUS products for animal nutrition, the digestibility enhancer digestarom®, were discussed and classified as “trailblazing”.
Years ago, we received a recommendation from the Federal Health Office in Berlin for our insecticide “AW 1”. The air disinfectant, AEROLAT, was certified by the University of Marburg (Germany), Institute For Hospital Hygiene, and at the Veterinary University of Hannover (Germany).
